The PAE team met today with Dr. Mehita Fanny, IFC’s newly appointed country manager for Mozambique.
The IFC has been supporting Measure 10 of the Economic Acceleration Measures Package, which envisages introducing the mandatory mixing of imported fuels with biofuels, through the development of a market forecast study.
Following high-level meetings held in Washington during the spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, the IFC expressed renewed interest in supporting Measure 11, specifically in relation to the single border project, and Measure 9, which creates the mutual guarantee fund.
