Measure 8 of the Economic Acceleration Measures Package was a highlight due to the large number of mining operations in the region.
During the seminar, the impacts of the measures were addressed, with emphasis on measure 8 of the PAE, which most participants called for in strengthening the transparency of the allocation of financial resources destined for communities and more dissemination of the regulation of procedures for the same good.
Another measure highlighted by the participants was measure 10, which deals with biofuels, where the dialogue focused on the type of impact it may have on producers, food security and the market itself, and which needs to be reflected in an integrated way on the same .
The Secretary of State, António Sopeia, opened the seminar to disseminate the status of the PAE measures, which was attended by members of the provincial government, representatives of the business sector, members of the Provincial Executive Council, civil society, non-governmental organizations and others.
The Secretary of State greeted the participants of the event, highlighting the pertinence of the event. He also informed that the purpose of the event is to share and socialize the PAE with other members of the provincial government and other actors, detailing the advantages, what has been done so far and that in the end all members of the provincial government and other sectors must take ownership of the PAE to work together on the satisfactory implementation of the measures.
