The leadership of the PAE team accompanied by representatives from MIREME, MADER and MIC held a multisectoral meeting on Biofuels today.
The purpose of the meeting was to collect contributions for the design of the implementation plan for measure 10 of the PAE, which should introduce the obligation to mix imported fuels with biofuels, and was attended by large agricultural producers and the main market operators.
The agenda discussed included the methodology to be adopted to guarantee the implementation of the measure, the presentation of the preliminary proposal for the decree that regulates biofuels and their mixtures, the production of raw materials and the implementation of storage infrastructures, among other points.
The meeting served as a positive starting point for the private sector as it promoted an open dialogue between the sectors and the actors responsible for the development and implementation of the measure.
