The PAE team met with the Mais Oportunidades Project, representatives of the Ministry of Public Works, Housing and Water Resources, and the Mozambique Engineering Laboratory. The focus of the meeting was to present the status of the Terms of Reference for activities planned for 2024.
This technical effort resulted in the detailed elaboration of the activity plan, clarifying key points to enable efficient implementation in the first and second quarters of 2024. During the discussions, participants made adjustments and additions to the Terms of Reference, with emphasis on Measure 15 .
Simple notarial acts were improved with the proposal to carry out a second round of training for the police officers involved. Furthermore, the activities were disaggregated to facilitate the harmonization of the proposed Electronic Judicial Process Law, including the exchange of experiences and socialization of the law. The expansion of the registry of legal entities was also addressed, with emphasis on presenting a detailed inventory of IT material, its specifications and details.
A significant milestone of the meeting was the elaboration and validation of the Terms of Reference for contracting design, development and operationalization services of the integrated platform for registration and management of contractors, consultants and civil construction technicians. This crucial step highlights the joint commitment to promoting efficiency and transparency in processes related to civil construction.
As these projects move forward, it is clear that the synergy between PAE and its strategic partners is driving transformative initiatives. We are facing a period of advances that will significantly contribute to growth and sustainable development in Mozambique.
