From the 20th to the 24th of this month, the province of Nampula will host an important economic forum that brings together representatives from the European Union, the Mozambican government and the United States of America.
The delegation is made up of six European ambassadors and the North American ambassador, with visits to various enterprises and institutions benefiting from European community support. Among the places to be visited are Nacala airport, the city’s port and the Special Economic Zone.
Attention will also focus on a seminar dedicated to government initiatives to boost the country’s economy, with emphasis on reforms within the scope of the Economic Acceleration Package (PAE). The event appears as a unique opportunity to assess the progress achieved and outline new paths for strengthening cooperation between Mozambique and its international partners in the economic sphere.
