As part of a quarterly meeting with the main UK-affiliated companies operating in the energy, mining, agriculture, telecoms and infrastructure sectors in Mozambique, the PAE team met today with British companies in the country representing over 500,000 jobs and among the largest contributors.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance, Carla Alexandra Oreste do Rosário Fernandes Louveira, a round table was held led by the High Commissioner of the United Kingdom. The Panel discussed the impact of the PAE measures on the companies present, highlighting the tax package and the electronic visa system.
