In the context of implementing Measure 7 of the Economic Acceleration Measures Package (PAE), a PAE team and representatives from the Housing Development Fund (FFH) visited a 200-hectare area in Incassane, Catembe, reserved for the FFH, FP project.
This visit is part of the follow-up actions defined during the mission to Namibia, where the Mozambican delegation met with the project’s development partner, Business Financial Solutions (BFS), and explored projects implemented in that country.
The project in Catembe represents a crucial step toward the development of affordable and sustainable housing, benefiting hundreds of families and promoting balanced urban growth. The visit aimed to assess the site and align the development plans with the community’s needs.
During the PAE team’s visit to the projects in Namibia, the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) expressed interest in the Catembe project. This demonstrates the importance of international cooperation in Mozambique’s socioeconomic progress and underscores the significance of partnerships in executing high-impact social projects.
