The Mozambican National Migration Service (SENAMI) carried out today, together with members of the technical development team and members of the PAE Office, a practical test for final refinements in the platform for issuing the digital visa.
The system will allow foreign citizens to apply for visas in some categories through the eVisa website. The electronic platform interacts with the applicant through data collection forms and digital images of supporting documents for the visa application according to its category.
The system is simple and once the data is submitted, the applicant receives a response within 5 working days. The process, if positive, generates a digital pre-approval document for the applicant which is then presented at their point of entry in the country where a physical visa is issued upon payment of the corresponding fee.
