The mission will hold technical discussions on operational aspects of existing tourism projects in the province of Inhambane, such as Smile Mozambique (community tourism project), Salela agrotourism project and Boa Gente project.
It will also hold meetings with various players working in the tourism sector, such as the Private Sector Association, Owners of Hotels, Galleries, Pottery Shops, Restaurants, Houses of Culture, among others.
The mission will take place from the 17th to the 24th of April. This mission aims to announce the More Opportunities project, inserted in measure 9 of the PAE and to address last mile infrastructure interventions in the province. The mission is made up of the National Directorate of Treasury, Economic and Financial Cooperation (DNTCEF), Office for the Coordination of Economic Reforms (GCRE), National Institute of Tourism (INATUR), Agency for the Development of the Zambezi Valley (ADVZ), World Bank ( BM) and the Project Coordination Unit (UCP). The mission referred that the More Opportunities project is budgeted at US$300 million, the MEF being the implementing agency, the financier being the World Bank.
