Within the scope of measure 7 and 15, the PAE team met with representatives of the Ministry of Public Works, Housing and Water Resources (MOPHRH), PCA of the Housing Development Fund, World Bank and Coordination Team of Projetos Mais Oportunidades for Coordination of Activities to be financed by the project in question: as an example the institutional training of MOPHRH technicians, standardization and regulation of construction materials and construction of a digital platform for the registration and registration of contractors.
It should be noted that the World Bank and PAE agreed that for the standardization and regulation of construction materials it is important that the parties involved in the process, in this case MOPHRH/ FFH, INOQ and MIC, harmonize and define their roles in the Moz project Materials to clarify and finalize the Terms of Reference and thus submit to the World Bank for its implementation.
The World Bank also highlighted the inclusion of sustainability and resilience aspects in the process of standardization and regulation of construction materials with a view to considering the climate shocks and risks that Mozambique faces.
