The PAE team met with the President of the Mozambique Bar Association (OAM), Dr. Carlos Joaquim Nogueira Martins within the scope of measures 15 and 16 with a focus on complex notarial acts and reforms in the justice administration system.
The President of OAM thanked the PAE team for their openness in searching for quick solutions for implementing activities around the measures mentioned. It clarified the aspects to be reviewed for the preparation of complex notarial acts (lease and mandate contracts) consisting of the selection criteria, control systems and values and division over the acts.
He also highlighted that OAM is carrying out internal work on the matter with a view to carrying out the activity as soon as possible and that the training of lawyers must be continuous to keep up with the existing dynamics.
