His Excellency the Minister of Economy and Finance, Max Tonela signed today on behalf of the Government of Mozambique the country’s accession agreement to AFRICA50.
The investment platform, created by the African Development Bank, aims to support public-private projects with an emphasis on regional infrastructure initiatives, particularly in the energy, transport and digital connectivity.
During the signing of the agreement, the CEO of AFRICA50, Mr. Alain Ebobissé highlighted the “One Stop Border” project, part of measure 11 of Mozambique’s stimulus package (PAE) in the Ressano Garcia border with South Africa as “very important” and as a target that the platform intends to support.
