A follow-up meeting on the implementation of the natural resources export control system, in line with Measure 6 of the PAE, which aims to strengthen the supervision of natural resource export operations, was held this afternoon at the INAMI laboratory.
SGS, the company contracted for this purpose, presented the progress made in preparing to install the system that will control the entire process, from the mine to export.
It was highlighted that the creation of an electronic platform, which will enable real-time monitoring and will be connected to the Single Electronic Window (JUE), has been successfully completed. During the meeting, it was agreed that INAMI’s technical staff, including students, should be involved in familiarising themselves with the new procedures, ensuring the transfer of knowledge to the next generation of employees, which is essential for the system’s operation.
